Organizations receive an allotment of Microsoft software donations that is reset every two years. An organization's two-year cycle begins with its first donation request after April 5, 2022. After two years, a new cycle begins, and a new allotment is available.

Nonprofits and public libraries only:
Donated products are available to nonprofits and public libraries only.
Certain donated products are available only to organizations that operate computer labs. These products can be used only on computers that are available to an organization's beneficiaries or the general public. They can't be used on computers that are assigned to staff members or volunteers.
Microsoft reserves the right to grant or deny an organization's request at any time, for any reason.
